QUESTION:

The stones in the wall of my home have developed dark black stains. What are these stains? How do I clean them? What can I do to prevent future staining?

The black stains shown in the pictures above are mold. To remove the mold stains, clean with BioKlean by PROSOCO. Always test on a small area before applying to entire wall. Remember to use the product as specified by the manufacturer. To aid in the cleaning, a pressure washer with not more than 1000 lbs. of pressure can be used. To minimize the stains from reappearing, apply Weather Seal Natural Stone Treatment by PROSOCO. Once again, use this product per the manufacturer's recommendations.
